The phoenix is a majestic bird with bright, fiery coloring and a golden beak. Immortal creatures, phoenixes burst into flames when they grow old. Days later, they are reborn from the ashes. Phoenix feathers can be used for powerful wand cores, though they are quite rare. They have been known to take initiative and act on their own in tense situations.
